This chain Japanese restaurant recently debuted its “Must Try” menu, featuring seven items specifically tailored for Las Vegas and Arizona palates. One of them is this little beauty, which you will like even if you don’t like sushi. The Vegas Roll is filled with cream cheese, avocado and salmon and fried in a light tempura batter. It’s a great combo of flavors, and the crunch of the crisp fried shell is a nice contrast to the smooth, rich texture of the cream cheese. $9.95, in Town Square, 6605 Las Vegas Blvd. South, 896-7440.
