Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet. It’s easy to spend hours browsing this modern-day bazaar, where hundreds of merchants sell everything from vintage clothing to eccentric art to sports memorabilia. You can even get your errands done—drop off clothing at the alterations booth and, while you wait, get a pedicure at Happy Feet. Summer Camps at the Springs Preserve. There’s still time to sign up your kids (7-18) for the new weeklong summer camps, where they can learn about the animals of the Mojave Desert or make eco-friendly works of art. First session begins on June 21. $100 (half day) and $180 (full day), 822-7786,

Learn Spanish. Learning a language is not only handy, it’s good for your brain. One opportunity is at the Henderson Multigenerational Center, which offers classes Wednesday nights July 7-Aug. 4. $42, plus $16 supply fee, 250 S. Green Valley Parkway, 267-5800.

Ceramics Classes at East Las Vegas Community Center. Get your hands dirty and have fun while learning the art of pottery and sculpting. Classes are available for all ages and skill levels. Candlelight classes at Yoga Sanctuary. One of the studio’s most popular classes takes place Friday evenings, when a musician or singer performs in the serene environment as you flow through various yoga poses. Single session $17-21.
