Entertaining options for a week of nonstop fun and excitement.
Grab your bikini or board shorts and soak up the moonlight as Encore Beach Club celebrates its new Dip & Dance nighttime pool party. (Doors at 10 p.m., $40 for men, $30 for ladies, local ladies and industry free.) Another option awaits high atop the Fantasy Tower, where everyone’s favorite neighbor, Holly Madison, makes a splash of her own and serves as guest bunny blackjack dealer during Playboy Club’s 50th anniversary party. One night, 50 parties in 50 cities—but only one official Playboy Club with Hugh Hefner’s former No. 1 working the tables. At the Palms, doors at 9 p.m., party at 10 p.m., $20 cover, local ladies free.
Think hot, not hostile, as the ladies of Hawaiian Tropic literally take over Ditch Fridays to the tunes of Britney Spears’ DJ, Havana Brown. (At the Palms, noon-7 p.m., $25 cover, local ladies free.) As things cool down at the pool, heat it up and head downtown, as Halloween Town, Transfer, The Novelty Act, Romance Fantasy, Bryan Todd and DJ Rex Dart play a benefit for Haiti at Beauty Bar. A $10 donation gets you in, and goes to support humanitarian organization Arbo de Vivo. 517 E. Fremont St., doors at 10 p.m.
Before taking on the night, celebrate the day with the incredible DJ/producer pairing of guest DJs Donald Glaude and Morgan Page at Liquid. (At Aria, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., $40 men, $10 ladies.) After the sun sets, “Twi-hards” get their fix with two of Bella’s few non-creature, non-undead friends as actors Michael Welch (Mike Newton) and Justin Chon (Eric Yorkie) do a public (and free!) meet-and-greet at Crown Nightclub. Sponsored by Ambhar tequila and Crystal Head vodka, the stars of the latest installment in the Twilight series will hang out in the club after the autograph signing and red carpet. At the Rio, doors at 11 p.m., meet-and-greet at 11:30 p.m., $30 for men, $20 for ladies.
Sunday lives up to its name as the pool parties come out in force: Guest DJ Bingo Players will keep the Beatport Beach party moving at Tao Beach (at the Venetian, 10 a.m.-sunset, $20 cover, all ladies and local guys free); Wet Republic doubles up with guest DJs Robbie River, Reza and Antoine Clamaran (at MGM Grand, 11 a.m.-7 p.m., $40 for men, $20 for ladies, locals free before 2 p.m.) and Rehab welcomes Lil Jon as he celebrates his new release, Crunk Rock. At the Hard Rock Hotel, 11 a.m.-7 p.m., $40 for men, $20 for ladies, local ladies free.
Held in conjunction with XRadio.biz, Tabu’s new industry night, X Level Mondays, hosts a fashion show and model search in hopes of finding the future face of Karma PCT clothing. Finalists will be selected Monday nights through June 28, and the winner will be featured in a national ad campaign. (At MGM Grand, doors at 10 p.m., $20 cover, locals free.) Meanwhile, go-go dancers who missed the showdown at Blush last week can give it another, ahem, go, in round one of Jet’s five-part go-go series, and all ladies enjoy an open bar from 11 p.m.-midnight. At The Mirage, doors at 10:30 p.m., $30 cover, locals free before midnight.
While the nation watches Team USA in the World Cup, Blush pays tribute to its biggest industry supporters by awarding team-playing regulars with personalized soccer jerseys. Meanwhile, other attendees receive whistles and inflatable soccer balls, and sexy staffers don referee outfits while classic World Cup footage plays throughout the club. (At Wynn, doors at 9 p.m., $30 cover, locals and industry free.) The soccer action continues at the Palazzo, as Lavo presents a special DJ set by Norwegian soccer player Jan Gunnar Solli. Wear a soccer jersey and enjoy a one-hour open bar from 11 p.m.-midnight. Doors at 10 p.m., $20 for men, $10 for ladies, free for locals.
Wondering where all the ladies are? Probably at Tao Beach for the grand opening of Kitty Dip, a girl-fest pool party hosted by DJ Lisa Pittman. (At the Venetian, 1-6 p.m., free for all ladies and local guys, $20 for men from out of town.) Later that night, the former Minxx strip club reopens as Discreet, and offers service industry workers an open bar from 8 p.m.-midnight (4636 Wynn Road, 8 p.m., locals and industry free, $30 for non-locals). Another option: Assess the damage and celebrate alongside the winners (and the losers, too) at the afterparty for the fourth installation of the Hard Rock Hotel’s VIP host charity throw-down, Fight Club, at Wasted Space. The post-fight party also features a live performance by the Paper Dolls. (Doors at 9 p.m., $20 men, $10 ladies, free for locals.) Meanwhile, Run DMC is at LAX to show off his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame prowess with a live performance. At Luxor, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 ladies, local ladies free.
