The Hills Is Alive

Once upon a time, the flood of The Hills stars into Vegas nightclubs was a mighty, thundering wave. Now, it’s merely a trickle. Still, Kristin Cavallari soldiered on—just not, oddly enough, at Soldier Field.

Cavallari was here Jan. 15 to celebrate her birthday at The Bank just a day before her boyfriend, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, racked up four touchdowns to lead Chicago past the Seattle Seahawks.

For dropping by, Cavallari scored a blue-and-orange cake topped with a football and a bouquet of flowers from Cutler. Apparently that bouquet didn’t come with tickets to Sunday’s game, though. Maybe Cutler learned his lesson from Tony Romo bringing Jessica Simpson around on game day.

Carrot Top

By Sean DeFrank

Scott “Carrot Top” Thompson has made his mark in the comedy world with crazy inventions and an unmistakable look. But an open-mike night at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, where he was going to school, gave him his first taste of the stage. After graduation, Thompson held odd jobs while working on his stand-up, and began touring college campuses.
