My most prized possession is a mid-mod Jens Risom lounge chair. I picked it up at a thrift store for $20—a total treasure-in-a-trash-heap scenario. I loved the chair at first sight. It’s sleek and modern but comfy to lounge in. It was my studio flop chair forever. I finally had it restored and reupholstered last year. I saw that slick croc fabric and knew it was meant for the chair. Now it has new life and a paisley undercarriage.
