Whether you’re on Team Cupid or think Cupid is stupid, Valentine’s Day is lurking just around the corner, preceded by a weekend of celebs, chocolate and special events. Party your heart out.

One of the hottest DJs on the Las Vegas nightlife circuit, Dutch producer Afrojack, comes to “Take Over Control” and show his love to the dance floor for a special Valentine’s Day edition at XS. In Encore, doors 10 p.m., men $40, women $20.

Live la vida Jet when ladies man Fabolous performs his catchy sing-along and promotes his new swag line, Rich Yung. In The Mirage, doors 10:30 p.m., men $40, women $20.

Blue has a heart! Whether coupled or single, get your mingle on at Blue Martini. Ladies in red receive free champagne. Show you care with a $5 raffle tickets to benefit the American Heart Association. Feb. 12, at Town Square, doors 8 p.m., no cover.

We’ve watched her steal hearts on television and now the stunning Kim Kardashian comes to the main room at Marquee to make us melt while British progressive-house DJ Matt Darey powers up the Boom Box Room. In the Cosmopolitan, doors 10 p.m., men $40, women $20.

Love me tender, or love me tequila. Either way get a “heart-on” for a package deal including Luxor’s steamiest show, Fantasy, and one of two delicious restaurants—Tender Steak & Seafood or T&T Tacos & Tequila. In Luxor, show at 10:30 p.m., packages range from $160 to $175.

Mend love’s battle scars at Beauty Bar’s Broken Hearts Show, hosted by Doris Mayday with contests for the best-dressed couple and best hairstyle. Find a partner and dance your cares away to the Desperados and the Delta Bombers, or the sounds of DJ Maybeline, spinning rockabilly all night. Feb. 12, 517 E. Celebrate your solidarity in the City of Sin! Strike it rich at’s Valentine’s Day party hosted at Gold. In Aria, doors 5 p.m., event 10 p.m., men, $20, women $10.

Drink the day away at Revolver’s anti-Valentines Day party, I Wish All My Exes Lived in Texas, with the help of $2 screwdrivers and $2 mind-eraser shots. Feb. 12, at the Santa Fe Station, doors 8 p.m., $2 cover.

It’s OK to be a hot mess at the Silverton’s Stupid Cupid singles mixer, with free cocktails, stimulating speed dating and a chocolate eating contest. Feb. 12, doors 7 p.m., no cover.

Feel the beat while dueling DJ’s Mika Gold and Soxxi turn up the heat at Rhumbar, who will also be screening black and white films and offering romantic tables for two, champagne and gourmet sweets starting at $49. In The Mirage, 792-7615.

It may be chilly at Minus 5 but Valentine’s Day will heat up the ice lounge. For $50 per couple, celebrate in style with provided faux fur coats and a champagne toast.
