The brainchild of four Metro Pizza partners—including Chris Herrin, Bouchon’s former pastry chef—Lulu’s On the Move is the sweet side of Metro, a mobile bakery truck doling out the caramel corn, sourdough waffles and Whoopie pies wherever they put it into park. But the cookies … Oh! Classic chocolate chip, humble oatmeal raisin and even the delicate espresso shortbread are all neatly portioned, devilishly thick and satisfying with discernable high-quality ingredients. $4.25 for four, $9 for a dozen; follow @lulusonthemove on Twitter for Lulu’s latest location.
