A Table for Uno

If you’re the type who isn’t afraid to stand out from the crowd, then the Library bar’s Table 207 awaits you, Professor. A single leather chair is pulled up to a small VIP table, right between the bar and DJ booth—the perfect place to hold court. Or office hours.

While you’re at the Library, you may as well hit the books. Tao Group partner Rich Wolf personally curated the bar’s collection of 1,000 books from Strand in Manhattan. Subjects range from Las Vegas history and gambling to cigars and burlesque. Fun fact: There are two of each title.

Michael Gillet may be a newcomer to Las Vegas, but he’s already making his mark in the dessert capital of the world. The French born-and-trained pastry chef arrived last year by way of prestigious properties in L.A. and, before that, New York City and beyond to assume the role of corporate pastry chef at the Sugar Factory American Brasserie, opening March 4 at Paris along with chefs Michael Sellmann and Bryan Ogden (Bradley Ogden’s similarly talented son).
