Las Vegas is claiming its spot on the fashion map. Fashion retailer Express presented Vegas’ first outdoor and on-the-Strip fashion runway show outside of The Venetian, featuring men’s and women’s fall 2011 apparel and accessories.
The Express Men’s Fall line is especially impressive, showcasing slimming, tailored looks without compromising masculinity. Meanwhile, the women’s Fall 2011
pieces are high on glamour with sleek, clean lines. Express women’s designers seem to have applied a less-is-more attitude because details are noticeably subtle and subdued, which I really like. Metallics and sequins are chic, not overpowering. Crystal embellishments are sexily placed and avoid gaudiness. And all other design details, such as the piping on the trench coat in the featured photo, present pleasant surprises while still coming off as effortless. Overall, both the
Express men’s and women’s fall lines display slick, uptown looks and successfully make high-class style accessible to all.
