“RA”kin Roll at RA Sushi

Ra Sushi recently rolled out an updated dining and cocktail menu and clearly executive chef Tai Obata had his head somewhere in the tropics. The new “RA”ckin’ Roll begins with kani kama crab and cream cheese, rolled in vinegared sushi rice and nori, then lightly tempura battered. This is then topped with a spoonful of guacamole. For the third tier, a fried “RA”ckin’ shrimp is finished with a creamy ginger teriyaki sauce, red beet tempura bits and togarashi, a Japanese spice blend. $13, in Fashion Show, 696-0008, RaSushi.com.
