Spaghetti with Tomato Basil Sauce at Scarpetta

Chef and owner Scott Conant, who just opened his newest outpost of the famed Italian eatery in the Cosmopolitan, brings with this dish a small but powerful taste of Italy to Sin City. Perfectly al dente spaghetti (made in-house) is combined with a delectable tomato and basil sauce. At $24 the price might seem steep for simple spaghetti but it’s well worth it—you won’t stop until all the sauce has been soaked up by the warm house-made bread. $24, in the Cosmopolitan, 698-7000.
