Britney Makes It Two Straight

Back for a second weekend of action, Britney Spears turned up a few places in town, which, as we all know, basically means she’s planning on moving here and starring in her own six-nights-a-week revue. That’s just how these things work.

Spears had dinner at Nove Italiano on April 2 with boyfriend Jason Trawick and her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. That night, Spears and Trawick turned up at Tao, where they were trying to keep a low profile until Danny McBride caught wind she was there and asked to be introduced.

(McBride, hosting for the evening to celebrate his new movie, told the crowd, “Gonna keep this short cause I’m drunk. Go see Your Highness.”)

The next day, Spears took the boys to see The Lion King at Mandalay Bay. When they went backstage to meet the cast, Jayden said to Derrick Williams (Mufasa), “Hey, I saw you dead.” There you have it. Incontrovertible proof that Britney has not taught her children how death works. K-Fed is going to have to do all the work here.

Fergie celebrates birthday with unicorn cake

Wyclef Jean is milking for all it’s worth the “gunshot wound” that police say was actually a cut from flying shards of broken glass. He turned up at his Haze appearance March 26 with a Haiti flag wrapped around his right hand. In a related story, 50 Cent has started wearing the seal of the borough of Queens on his face. Fergie did her birthday at the Bank on March 25, where she was presented with a cake that had a unicorn on it. The unicorn represented “Fergie songs that don’t make you want to tear your teeth out with pliers.”
