Electric Daisy Carnival announces trio of headliners

The Electric Daisy Carnival announced a trio of headliners—Tiësto, David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia—for the June 24-26 electronic dance music massive at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Seriously, someone is going to show up that weekend thinking there’s a race and just hate every second of their life.

Rehab didn’t bring in an Olympic swimmer when it kicked off its season April 17, but it did have one thing those other pools didn’t—a helicopter. The Rehab chopper dropped balls on the crowd that pool partiers could scoop up for $100,000 in cash and prizes.

Penn & Teller and the JabbaWockeeZ were among the Strip talent at the 21st annual AIDS Walk Las Vegas downtown April 17. The charity event raised more than $140,000 for Aid for AIDS of Nevada.

They should’ve been celebrating their birthdays at Chuck E. Cheese and the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, respectively, but son-and-father duo Marston and Hugh Hefner got together April 9 at the Palms to celebrate their birthdays, 21 and 85. That’s son and father, mind you. No “great-grand” anywhere in there. It is touching, though, to see the generations brought together in wholesome and time-honored ways—by 31 Playmates.
