Pacquiao-Mosley brings out celebs

While everyone waits and waits and waits for a Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Manny Pacquiao fight, fans had to make do with Pacquiao-Shane Mosley on May 7 at MGM Grand Garden Arena, where Pacquiao won a unanimous decision over “Sugar” Shane. Paris Hilton and Cy Waits were at the fight, and Hilton Tweeted that she was looking forward to visiting the Philippines for a business venture, rumored to be a Paris Hilton Beach Club. Hey, it’s like they say: If hotel security won’t allow you to go to Encore Beach Club, build your own beach club in Manila. They do say that, right?

Jamie Foxx was at the fight to sing “God Bless America,” and apparently didn’t get enough spotlight time. He later turned up at Tao, where he delivered his usual two-hour, on-stage-all-the-time performance.

Shedonism: Rumor has it

By Xania V. Woodman

There is no doubt about it—this one’s for the ladies. On the heels of Vegas’ LGBT Pride festival’s rescheduling from May to September, a new homegrown event will bring thousands of women to Rumor resort for the inaugural Shedonism party weekend, Sept. 15-19. “Generally the Pride [event] season is in the summer—June, July or August,” says Shedonism’s co-creator Lisa Pittman. “But September in Vegas is perfect.” Perfect for four days and nights of parties for ladies enjoying Rumor’s 150 rooms and resort amenities.
