Secret Shopper

Nothing makes shopping more fun than a secret store. It’s a place you go for unique pieces, and it’s all yours. This hush-hush vibe is what Topshop is hoping to accomplish with its pop-up boutiques. The installations will feature limited-edition designer collaborations with Pamela Love, Nasir Mazhar and Ann-Sofie Back displayed on vintage furniture and cabinets. All the lines are focused on giving shoppers a bespoke experience with clothing, accessories, bags and housewares.

So what makes the store so secret? It’s the entrance, which is hidden. Just look out for an expansive floral arrangement should you be visiting the New York or Oxford Circus stores anytime soon, as it will only be at these locations for a limited time. No fear, local fashionistas: Select pieces from the secret shop are available at Topshop.com.

Genius in a Bottle

The creative mind behind Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld, is taking a break from designing clothing to bring his talents back to the world of soft drinks. He’s designed his second collection of Diet Coke bottles, set to hit specialty food stores in June. Lagerfeld is famously a fan of the drink and is rumored to have lost 90 pounds in 2001 by drinking Diet Coke and eating steamed vegetables alone. Yum. The collection of three limited-edition bottles features colorful pink, white and black designs inspired by the new Diet Coke heroines: puppets named Bernadette, Eleanor and Irene.
