Pauly Shore (1) is alive! He’s here to prove it. Catch the Encino Man as he returns to Vegas to perform stand-up through Sunday in the South Point showroom. After the autobiographical smash hit of “Sometime Around Midnight” in 2008, The Airborne Toxic Event quickly rose to fame, and in April released their second album, All at Once. Catch the Los Angelinos and their new tunes at House of Blues. Live music takes over the Strip tonight, starring two unforgettable bands, both from Sacramento, Calif. Grab your short skirt and long jacket for the alternative, experimental group that rocked the ’90s but whose classics are still favorite sing-a-longs, Cake (3) who plays at the Boulevard Pool. (In the Cosmopolitan, doors 8 p.m., tickets start at $40 at Having set the standard for the ’90s wave of metal, the Deftones—accompanied by the Dillinger Escape Plan and Le Butcherettes—bring their gritty sounds to The Joint. (In the Hard Rock, doors 8 p.m., tickets start at $26.50, The stunning and shocking Oscar-winning actress and rock ’n’ roll queen Juliette Lewis (4) tops off the night when she celebrates her birthday at Chateau. Knock off your Monday blues at Book & Stage where the soulful and bluesy Arielle Verinis (5)—think Janis Joplin meets Joss Stone with some Allman Brothers twang—performs. The legendary DJ Jazzy Jeff, famed not just for his work with Will Smith on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air but for his iconic DJ skills, hits Vegas to spin at Moon. Blue Martini heats up Ladies Night, offering half-price drinks for ladies and a special event, Bikinis and Martinis where glamazons take over the lounge and strut their stuff during a bikini fashion show by Strings Boutique.
