An amazing charitable event has been brought to the table—the dinner table that is—for its second successful year. Project Dinner Table (PDT) gathers more than 125 people at a time to one large dinner table in adventurous outdoor locations such as Gilcrease Orchard or the Jackie Gaughan Plaza in front of El Cortez, all for a good cause. Founded by Gina Gavan last year, the dinner series features local chefs who prepare the meal, showcasing ingredients from local growers with an emphasis on organic produce and sustainable foods. Tickets average $140 per person, with PDT donating a minimum of $3,500 to a local charity on behalf of the guests, the chef and the sponsors. Imagine giving so much while receiving so much at the same time! Events held monthly (April-November), ProjectDinnerTable.com
