The VP of marketing and events for Diversified Entertainment Group (Chateau, Gallery, Sugar Factory, etc) and president of his own international talent wrangling company since 1995, John Lewis is also a handsome, polite Hawaiian native and actor (he’s starred in the film Blood Out, TV’s Hawaii Five-O and the upcoming romantic comedy So Be Real) who got his first shot at success in Las Vegas nightlife is 2001.
But you probably wouldn’t want to tangle with him at the velvet ropes: The 43-year-old has black belts in six martial arts and has fought professionally for 11 years, becoming a world champion in multiple organizations as well as starting Las Vegas’ first MMA school, Academy J-Sect, in 1995. He manages fighter Gilbert Yvel and has coached and trained the likes of Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz, Randy Couture and B.J. Penn, which in some circles makes him a god. Bottom line: Should a scuffle between Superman and Batman break out in the club, our money is on Lewis to get there before security.
