Pistachio Ice Cream, Cold Stone Creamery

As summer winds down, it’s time to reflect on the ice cream that sustains us through the heat. For this ice cream is all about the texture. It is weirdly soft and gooey, a little marshmallow-y, even though it doesn’t have marshmallows in it. Every bite is cool and smooth. It’s best when served up plain in a little cup with absolutely none of the Cold Stone toppings, just a gooey, green summer refresher.

Lobster ME, a new place in the Miracle Mile Shops for classic New England lobster concoctions, aims to break that mold. The boys from LEV Restaurant Group already have their eyes on franchising, and after a few short weeks have received a flood of national press. They may really be on to something this time.
