Yannick Augy

General manager, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon; age 28

Style icons: Tom Ford, Brad Pitt, Ryan Reynolds, Yves Saint Laurent and Christian Dior.

What he’s wearing now: Zara three-piece suit and shirt, Valentino tie, Michael Kors tie pin, Louis Vuitton belt, Aldo shoes, Perry Ellis socks and Tiffany & Co. bracelet.

Augy characterizes his style as polished, tailored and “a little bit dandy.” His go-to’s include an affordable suit dressed up with high-end accessories. European brands such as Zara provide the base from which Augy can build his signature mix of high and low. The one thing you won’t catch him wearing while working? “A light-colored suit. Our job is very active, and I would ruin it instantly.”

My Object of Affection

Kim Bavington

“My most prized possession is a plaster handprint that I made when I was 5 years old. It doesn’t seem like much, but it’s one of the only things I kept from my early childhood. It happens to be a piece of art that most every kid makes when they are in kindergarten. Now, over 40 years later, I am still in a creative career and find it interesting that this handprint came to symbolize more than just the size of my palm and fingers at that time.”
