It’s a tri-state food-truck massive!

You know how in Smokin’ Aces quirky teams of stylish assassins converged on Lake Tahoe to try to take out Jeremy Piven before he could squeal to the feds? No, you don’t, because no one saw that movie. Anyway, the South Point Gourmet Food Truck Fest is just like that, except with less assassination and more sliders.

Food trucks from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver and Las Vegas will gather at the casino from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 5 to serve you. From a truck.

Local favorites BBQ Boy, Sin City Wings, Haute Chix, Tasty Bunz and, of course, Slidin’ Thru and Fukuburger will represent the 702 among all the out-of-towners taking advantage of South Point Casino’s ample parking.

The festival also includes a Pabst Blue Ribbon beer garden, wine area, Absolut bars, live music and football to expressly distract you from your desire to hijack a food truck and go on a cross-country burger binge.
