Pick a Shore, any Shore

Not that they need any particular reason to show up in town, half the cast of Jersey Shore was here for the weekend to play into as many stereotypes as they could in as short an amount of time as possible.

Last year, Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio let the blowout go for a night when he came out to Rain dressed as Justin Bieber—floppy hair and all. This year, there were no such shenanigans. Back at Rain on Oct. 29, DelVecchio had half his face painted like a skull and the other half painted tan. Well, more tan. Faker tan. If that’s possible.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was at Vanity on Oct. 30 sans costume because, we assume, he couldn’t figure out snaps and buckles. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, meanwhile, opted for a leopard costume at Pure on Oct. 29. It required her, without a trace of irony, to also be spray-painted orange. At least that’s what we assume had to happen and it wasn’t just her, er, natural skin tone coming through.

Jennifer “JWoww” Farley brought boyfriend Roger Matthews to Chateau on Oct. 29, where they both dressed in gangster outfits. If only they could’ve been playing accordions while making exaggerated hand gestures, they could’ve really convinced us of their overall Italianness.

Think that dime-store Little Bo Peep costume-in-a-bag is gonna win you a contest this Halloween? Unless you’re prepared to make out with other contestants wearing the same outfit, think again. When costume perfectionists such as Jalles Franca enter the nightclub, you won’t even stand a chance. The 29-year-old has been competing in contests since the days of Club Rio (what is now Crown Nightclub, for you newbies). You may have also spotted the chiseled Brazilian native working as a percussionist and dancer at Studio 54 and Tabu, or on the Men of X stage.
