A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas

Comic effrontery is the Bic that lights the bong in these movies, but a third one? Here, the now-30ish men-boys hunt down a Christmas tree, mix up with gangsters, briefly turn into animated characters, consort with virgins and meet Santa. Neil Patrick Harris returns for a Rockettes-style musical number, which has its moments. But this franchise is played out, and the only way to stay “fresh” is with the most off-color, off-putting jokes possible.
