Not to toot our own horn, but we called it last year that DJ M!ke Attack was going to be a big deal. The friendly spinster was our pick for One to Watch—Top Up-and-Coming DJ. This year, his high-megawatt smile and larger-than-life skill have outgrown that title, and we couldn’t be prouder. Since last December, he’s scored residencies at STK’s Magnum Mondays, Rain’s Clash Fridays and Encore Beach Club’s Industry Beach Mondays, all the while maintaining his ever-so-hip residencies at the Artisan and Ghostbar’s Snitch Wednesday. His outgoing personality and style are still adored by his loyal local following, though the secret’s getting out. His electric presence, undeniable energy and eclectic sets that are encouraging crowds to pull out their Shazam apps, spark the crowd and fill the night with a sense of musical magic. He’s making waves in nightclubs in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle, and has even opened for international stars the likes of Junior Sanchez, Laidback Luke and Sebastian Ingrosso. From his days at the now-defunct Red Room to the ultra-luxurious Encore, M!ke Attack is a Sin City success story that just keeps getting better.
