The South Point hotel casino welcomes food trucks from Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Phoenix, Denver and, of course, Las Vegas to its Gourmet Food Truck Fest, 5-9 p.m. Feb. 1. This second installment of Cluster Truck Events’ nom-nom massive, the “Dinner and a Movie” edition, features a curbside screening of John Wayne in The Searchers. More than 20 trucks are expected to roll up to the Silverado parking lot at 9777 Las Vegas Blvd. South, including San Francisco’s Nom Nom Truck, Pie ’n’ Burger of Pasadena, Calif., and from TV’s The Great Food Truck Race, Devilicious of San Diego. There is no charge for admission, but you’ll want to bring cash for the grub and follow @TruckWrangler on Twitter for the latest developments.
