It’s always good, irritating fun to read other city’s predictions of the sky falling over Las Vegas, but in this instance, the Los Angeles Times might have the added benefit of being right. This commentary about the water crisis at Lake Mead (which, last year’s good water harvest notwithstanding, continues) revives the warnings not only for Nevada but for all of the Colorado River Compact states that it’s time to re-evaluate our water-management plans.
