It’s clearly been a long day for the kids at the deli just outside the LVH Race and Sports Superbook. Almost $94 million was wagered in Nevada sportsbooks on the Feb. 5 Super Bowl between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots, and, once again, the books got the better of the bettors.
But our intrepid photographer reports that the Giants’ 21-17 victory was hardly the day’s worst moment for the folks at LVH. “Madonna was the final straw,” Elizabeth Wolynski says. “Somebody yelled out, ‘We don’t want to see f*****g Madonna,’ followed by boos and mass exodus for 15 minutes.” Hopefully the kids missed that middle finger.
