Seven Nights

This week in your city.

Thu 1

Are you “Awake” and ready to party? Evol Intent’s remix of that Le Castle Vania track is one of 2011’s best songs you won’t hear in a megaclub. That’s why there’s Funktion Las Vegas welcoming the aforementioned drum-and-bass group, plus headliner Dillon Francis and more. (3771 Las Vegas Blvd South, 10 p.m., HardRock.com/lasvegas.) Start your weekend off early as Revolution presents its weekly hip-hop alternative. The Good Foot kicks off with DJ G-Minor and open bar until midnight. (In The Mirage, 10 p.m., LightGroup.com.). Tip: Always wear new jeans to blacklight parties. Geisha Twins, LA Zebra and more spin for The Warm Up Neon Dance Launch Party. (3247 Industrial Road., 8 p.m., TheWarmUpLV.com.)

Fri 2

If you’ve yet to get dusty for a week in the desert, the First Vegas Burn!, inspired by the Burning Man festival, involves torching a 20-foot tall wooden showgirl sculpture for one flame-tastic First Friday. (8 p.m., at the intersection of Third Street and Colorado Avenue, FirstFridayLasVegas.com.) The pyro party continues as the Plaza hosts an Art Car event with the Dancetronauts and special room rates. (1 S. Main St., 11 p.m., PlazaHotelCasino.com.) Little monsters! Get In the House at Haze when Gaga’s music director/producer Fernando Garibay is the guest DJ. (In Aria, 10 p.m., LightGroup.com.) Variety is the spice of life, no? So we’re stoked to see rising electro-house DJ/producer Lazy Rich on the Surrender lineup. We’ll be bopping our heads to “Better Wipe That Up” in preparation. (In Encore, 10:30 p.m., SurrenderNightclub.com.)

Sat 3

Have a gay ol’ time as Share Nightclub celebrates its official grand opening, hosted by E!’s fabulous Ross Mathews and a performance by singer Luciana. The first 100 guests will be photographed for the iconic NoH8 campaign, plus a special sneak-peek performance from Golden Rainbow’s Ribbon of Life show. (4636 Wynn Road., 9 p.m., ShareNightclub.com.) This may come as a shock to some, but dubstep existed before Skrillex. Bassnectar has been making bass-heavy beats for years; prepare to have your face melted off when he headlines at Rain. (In the Palms, 11 p.m., Palms.com.) Butterfly at Chateau is back, baby. Grab that pair of sparkly wings you scored last time you danced under the Eiffel Tower as NBA baller-turned-DJ Rony Seikaly headlines with house music, plus resident DJ DigitalBoy. (In Paris, 10 p.m., ButterflyVegas.com.)

Sun 4

Dub Church might be able to get tax-exempt status if we can prove bass-worship is a religion. The weekly party in the King’s Room celebrates the birth of disciples Pete and Kiddo, plus sets by Metaphase, BPSS and more. (In the Rio, 10 p.m., DubChurch.com.) After a lengthy debate, we’re sure the ceilings are higher and room larger than the former Caramel Lounge, reinvented as Lily. If you haven’t checked out the lovely little flower yet, stop by for Industry Night with signature cocktail specials for locals. (In Bellagio, 10 p.m., LightGroup.com.)

Mon 5

Even surrounded by decades of technology, don’t forget the coolness of interacting face-to-face and partying with a purpose thanks to Miss Joy’s Human Experience Mondays at Insert Coin(s). (512 E. Fremont St., 10 p.m., InsertCoinsLV.com.)

Tue 6

Dudes hate Valentine’s Day. In response, a group has created “Steak and BJ Day,” which will be celebrated at Beauty Bar’s Nickel F*cking Beer night. The party offers free steaks on the grill and … well, since the NFB crew says they’re fresh out of kneepads, they’ll be substituting with BJ’s brews. (517 Fremont St., Suite 150, 10 p.m., Facebook.com/vegasnickelbeers.) Instead of Mozart, Dutch parents must play dance music to their kids, because the Netherlands continues churn out EDM talent. Amsterdam’s Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano return to Vegas and take over Lavo’s All Night/Tuesdays. (In the Palazzo, 11 p.m., LavoLV.com.)

Wed 7

An Avenging Unicorn. Fake blood. A Vanilla Ice tape! You never know what fabulous prizes you’ll win while downing bacon martinis at the Double Down Saloon’s monthly Punk Rock Bingo. Hosted by bad-ass Jenn-O-Cide, she may eat a glass or two if you’re lucky. (4640 Paradise Road., 10 p.m., DoubleDownSaloon.com.) If someone doesn’t say something about a certain socialite’s orange hue, we’ll cry foul. LAX and JackColton.com present a Local Celebrity Roast where all the things you’ve been thinking about you-know-who will come to light. Roastees include Tiffany Masters, Zee Zandi, Kalika Moquin, Gino LoPinto and more. Let’s hope that orange skin is thick! (In Luxor, 10 p.m., LAXTheNightclub.com.) Happy two-year anniversary, Cosmopolitan Connections! In honor of the occasion, held at Gold Lounge, enjoy free entry, a bikini show from Unleashed Swimwear, drink specials and giveaways. (In Aria, 7 p.m., CosmopolitanConnections.com.)
