Vanity celebrates defunct HBO show about vanity

Don’t think the end of Entourage means that was last time you could see Vince and Matt Dillon’s Brother and The Short One all together in one spot. No, Vanity on March 24 was all about reliving the magic of season after season of thinly drawn conflict melting away into a placid puddle of absolutely no repercussions, character growth or meaningful change.

Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon and Kevin Connolly (Turtle must have been … busy? … we guess?) were at the club for the launch of the Hard Rock Hotel’s revamped player’s club, Backstage Pass, where they hung out with Cheryl Hines of Curb Your Enthusiasm fame.

Bad enough she had to share a channel with the cast of a vastly inferior show, but now she has to do it in her off-time, too? She never should have let the writers get away with splitting up her and Larry.
