Marsha Timson

Director of leasing and design for Las Vegas Design Center, age 62.

What she’s wearing now: Lisa Anne summer suit, Brooks Brothers shirt, Neiman Marcus red rose neckpiece, Ralph Lauren belt and glasses, Painegonda ring, Hermès cuff, Tiffany & Co. earrings and Taryn Rose shoes.

Fashion motto: Bring it on but keep it classic.

A real estate veteran charged with keeping the LVDC showrooms stocked with the top names in home and design, Timson is undoubtedly business-savvy. But her professional attire and vibrant accents set her apart from many executives. For the New Mexico transplant, colorful shades add excitement and drive the look. “Dress it up, but have fun with it, and don’t be afraid to use a lot of color,” she says. Preferring to swath herself with labels such as Theory and Kenneth Cole, Timson ensures she’s following her own style advice: “Dress appropriately for every occasion, whether you’re in the boardroom or enjoying a casual Sunday afternoon.”

My Object of Affection

Samantha Grimes

“My most prized possession is a set of traditional Inupiat craft items and clothing including a parka with wolf fur, mukluks made of caribou and ivory earrings crafted from walrus tusks and baleen. I grew up in Barrow, Alaska, which is a small town right off the Arctic Ocean that is very in tune with culture and tradition. To this day, the Inupiat people can legally hunt whales and other animals for subsistence purposes. The items are all handmade and inspired by hundreds of years of living in the Arctic.
