The Situation is 30, possibly

Newly out-of-rehab, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino celebrated his 30th birthday party the way anyone would want to spend their 30th birthday party—avoiding booze and dressing like a 12-year-old. That’s, of course, assuming he’s actually 30 and not 48, as he looks on his show.

Sitch was at the grand opening of Señor Frog’s at Treasure Island along with brothers Marc and Frankie Jr., sister Melissa and mother, Linda.

Marc got him a $3,000 pair of Nike Air Yeezy 2’s, and Melissa got him a golden retriever puppy. Sorrentino’s splashiest birthday present was a 6,000-square-foot home in Monmouth, N.J., that he bought for himself. His cake had a replica of the black Lamborghini he picked up a few months back. Sitch insisted that he’s ditching GTL and his new motto is ABG—always be grateful. It really should be STC—save that cash.

With Jersey Shore reportedly wrapping up for good, Sorrentino said MTV could really make his birthday dreams come true: “A new contract would be an amazing birthday gift, too.” Sure, maybe. But we choose to think by not renewing, MTV is giving an even better birthday present to the rest of us.

DJs are the new rock stars, and Tristan Garner definitely looks the part. It wouldn’t be surprising if ladies started throwing undergarments at the booth. But beyond the fashion and sex appeal, the charming French producer is more than just a pretty face. His 2009 collaboration with Gregori Klosman, “Fuckin Down,” is still a great club-banger without the overkill, and Garner’s recent releases give an edge to the big-room house tunes.
