Opening Aug. 1, The Market LV at Tivoli Village is a collection of locally owned, small and stylish businesses aggregated under one roof. This progressive retail environment is situated around a communal space—a living room, of sorts—that invites social interaction. (Think desert bazaar, but with the benefits of air-conditioning.) Its forefather, OC Mart Mix, opened in 2010 in Orange County, Calif., to rave reviews and has since become a mainstay for those seeking refuge from the typical mall. Totaling 22,000 square feet and spanning two stories, the Vegas version at its capacity will hold 20 shops. Right now Market LV is at 85 percent occupancy, with confirmed businesses that include Artifact, a creative boutique featuring repurposed and up-cycled home furnishings, clothing and other unique products; and View Wine Bar & Kitchen, a Southern California-inspired wine, cheese and piano bar. Sounds like there’s gonna be something for everyone.
