Since his job in nightlife allows him the freedom to dress beyond the traditional suit, Garcia takes every opportunity possible to express his upscale casual style. Working in artist relations makes him the No. 1 go-to guy for Wynn Las Vegas’ roster of DJs, including Diplo and Afrojack. “I need to stay current and on top of trends, I don’t want an artist to come in and say, ‘Who is this guy and why is he taking care of me?’”

Mix It Up

Brightly colored jeans are a surefire way to get noticed. Garcia opts for a pair in his favorite hue (blue).

Mixing them with a white tuxedo-style jacket dresses up the outfit. Zara in Fashion Show, 733-1113.

Sunnies to Swipe

With more than 200 days of sunshine a year (and countless all-nighters), Las Vegas is a city where sunglasses are a must. Garcia, who owns 25 pairs, says he never leaves home without them. Here are his favorites:

• Sabre “Gunclub,” $120, Powder and Sun, 4555 S. Fort Apache Road, 221-7669.
• Neff “Spectra,” $25, Tilly’s in Boca Park, 932-0148.
• Tom Ford “Leopold,” $380, Neiman Marcus in Fashion Show, 731-3636.

Looking for a statement piece to spice up your stodgy living room? Check out the Seat Belt Rocking Chair and Ottoman from the Phillips Collection in the Las Vegas Design Center. The trendy furnishings are the brainchild of young Thai designer Nuttapong, whose sister owns a seat-belt factory. “He would visit the plant and see spools of seat-belt strapping being woven together and thought it would make a great furniture design,” vice president and creative director Jason Phillips says.
