Prince Harry Hits J-Lo’s, Lochte’s Hot Spots

Prince Harry was in San Diego hosting a charity event, but come on, who wants to hang out in perfect weather in a vibrant city with a dynamic nightlife scene? They have a 2 a.m. last call there. They’re barbarians.

Instead, His Royal Harryness booked it out of that dump on Aug. 19 and came to Las Vegas, where he hung out at Wet Republic. He was spotted jumping in and out of the pool, thus disproving the popular theory that the British royal family is made entirely of witches.

Arriving a couple of hours after Harry, Jennifer Lopez turned up at 3 p.m. to host ahead of her concert at Mandalay Bay that evening. She was hanging out with boyfriend Casper Smart. After the show that night, she went right back to hosting, this time at Pure with Maria Menounos and Leah Remini.

Harry, meanwhile, went from the pool during the day to the pool at night; he and his friends had a daybed outdoors at XS and kept a low profile during Porter Robinson’s set.

With a slightly more outré evening at XS, gold-medal swimmer Ryan Lochte and Olympic teammate Cullen Jones celebrated Lochte’s belated birthday Aug. 19 during Sunday Night Swim at the club. The name was apt, too—Lochte and Harry, back for more that evening, held a little race in the pool. We’ll let you go ahead and guess who won.

It was the third straight day of birthday celebrations for Lochte, who spent Aug. 17 at Tao Beach in a white Speedo yet still got girls to pay attention to him, because that’s how powerful a gold medal is. That night he went to Lavo for his obligatory red, white and blue birthday/Olympics cake.

He was saving up for the next day, though, when he rolled into Azure at the Palazzo looking for all the world like sanity prevailed in a pair of American flag board shorts. Turns out that was a cruel taunt, though. Lochte stripped down to a pink Speedo covered in stars, because apparently we all hadn’t been punished enough for whatever transgressions we’ve committed. Lochte ended his night at Tao, mercifully, in pants.
