Do I have your attention now? Good. Then you’ll want to get down to Bond immediately for this spicy little number. As it goes with the world’s spicier cuisines, a bit of heat can actually go a long way toward cooling you down. In keeping with Bond’s mixology philosophy—reinterpreting cocktails that bartenders “love to hate”—the sexy star player on his recently launched menu, the Nikita, was inspired by the mildly labor-intensive caipirinha. “Many times I have a base spirit that I start with, and it just goes from there,” says Jerry Vargas, Bond general manager and property mixologist. The El Paso, Texas, native is no stranger to heat, so he started with Hangar One Chipotle. His cocktail intermingles sweet, roasted pineapple flavors with the chipotle’s warming heat. Nikita’s spicy kick will get you hot, but not bothered.

Fill a 10-ounce rocks glass with ice, not only to chill it, but to pre-measure the correct amount of ice you’ll need. In a mixing glass, combine 6 lime cubes, 3 cilantro sprigs and ½ ounce simple syrup and muddle. Add 2 ounces Hangar One Chipotle vodka, 1 ounce Perfect Puree of Napa Valley caramelized pineapple puree and the ice from the rocks glass. Cover, shake vigorously and roll (add the entire contents of the mixing glass) to the rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.
