Raftin’ Rebels

UNLV students emerged bleary-eyed from class on Sept. 11 to find their cars in worse shape than their football team. Torrential rains had soaked the Valley and sent the airwaves crackling with flood warnings.

It was the sort of day that rewarded patience and preparedness. These two Rebels, afloat in the Thomas & Mack Center parking lot, had plenty of both.
