Deadmau5, Kat Von D Together at iHeart

With iHeart Radio in town the celebs turned out in droves. On Thursday Justin Timberlake was first spotted at Tryst Nightclub where he was rolling deep with 20 bros in what definitely appeared to be a bachelor party — his. The group was drinking vodka and Timberlake’s own 901 Tequila from a table on the dance floor after dining at Theo Shoenegger’s Sinatra. JT and company also hit up Surrender Nightclub’s Splash Dance party. Meanwhile at Tryst, iHeart host Ryan Seacrest was seen sipping on vodka sodas with two friends at a table near the venue’s 90-foot waterfall. He was extremely cordial to the many fans who sought a photo op with the media iron man. “Princess of China” Rihanna was also in town early to close the iHeart fest on Friday. On Thursday she spent the day lounging in a cabana at Marquee Dayclub and stood out amongst her friends by sporting a tie-dyed bikini. She was seen nursing cocktails and noshing on chicken wings. She also thanked a fan at a neighboring cabana who sent the singer a bottle of vodka. Later that evening, RiRi decided to mix it up and with a trip to the Guns and Ammo Garage to fire off some fully automatic weapons. Over at Tao Beach, Dancing With The Stars’ Mark Ballas was spitted and returned to the venue to dine at TAO that evening and hit the club. Also seen dining with their wives at TAO Thursday night were Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont and Adrian Young of No Doubt.

On Friday, night one of iHeart, there was some serious star wattage both on and back stage. Korean You Tube sensation Psy and Britney Spears made surprise appearances and My Life on The D-List star Kathy Griffin tells us that she was particularly “excited to see all the hot messes back stage.” When asked about her shoe throwing incident at The Creative Arts Emmy Awards and flipping the crowd the bird last week she responded, “That was awesome and I want to do it again tonight.” Alas she didn’t. After the show there was an exodus to the official after party at 1 Oak where Usher played host to a bevy of music biz and Clear Channel insiders. Over at XS, Calvin Harris took the decks and fellow iHeart performer Deadmau5 was spotted with a beer in hand checking out the Scotsman’s set. As the night drew on Lil Jon dropped by with a small entourage and briefly hopped on the mic to shout out to the crowd as well as playmate Sarah Underwood and music producer/Janet Jackson’s ex Jermaine Dupri who were also in the house.

Saturday, night two of the iHeart Radio Festival, brought out even more big names. At XS, Enrique Iglesias could be found drinking water on the side of the stage watching Deadmau5 (who arrived with new girlfriend Kat Von D on his arm). Iglesias was wearing a hat and hoodie trying to maintain a low profile with some friends, but was gracious to fans that spotted him. Iglesias spent some time chatting with Harris and the artists took turns snapping iPhone shots of one another. Dave Bryan from Bon Jovi and Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance were also reported to have stopped by. Elsewhere at Tao, Psy made an appearance and gave two performances of his You Tube smash “Gangnam Style,” after checking out night two of the festival from backstage. His encore performance resulted after repeated chants from the amped crowd. The flashy performer quipped, “The first one was mandatory, but I better get a return trip with a private jet for this one!” This resulted in Tao Group co-owner Jason Strauss coyly ducking down at his table.  Strauss was accompanied by one of his partners Noah Tepperberg and fellow New York nightlife boss and 1 Oak owner Richie Akiva. Strauss later said, “I’ve never seen the energy so electric here in eight years!” Spotted at the owner’s table was Joe Jonas, who had just eaten with his brothers in the restaurant downstairs. Redfoo and his Party Rock Crew also got into the Gangnam spirit and were seen dancing on tables alongside Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun, who now manages Psy, at a neighboring table. Other notables were seen on Saturday at the iHeart pre-party at the Wet Republic pool included many Clear Channel personalities as well as actor Luke Wilson (who was celebrating his 41st birthday) and The Bachelorette’s Arie Luyendyk. They all jammed out to the sounds of Bob Sinclar.

Finally, the weekend wrapped at XS’ Night Swim closing party where Swedish House Mafia’s Axwell spun for a crowd including Iglesias who returned to the venue for a second night in a row. Iglesias rolled deep sitting a table adjacent to the stage where he engaged in a lively round of beer pong, which the club offers at the party.
