On Oct. 18, Vegas Seven and Dayvid Figler present the latest installment of our ongoing storytelling series, The Tell — and this time, we’re laying down the law. “I Fought, The Law” is all about the legal system (“The Law”) and those occasions when it goes over its bounds and has to be turned back (“I Fought”). Scheduled storytellers include Review-Journal columnist John L. Smith; actor Joey Kern (Super Troopers, Cabin Fever); Las Vegas Metro police officer and poet Harry Fagel; teacher Rodney Lee, and more. And the setting for this night of stories couldn’t be more fitting: We’ve been given the rare honor of holding The Tell at The Mob Museum, in the historic courthouse where much of Las Vegas’ own incredible history of crime and punishment was played out.
Doors are at 7 p.m. and the stories begin promptly at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10, and space is very limited, so be sure to get your seats now. And until then, try to stay out of trouble.
