With Holly Madison’s public appearances (hopefully) soon to decline because of her pregnancy, Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh is increasingly becoming the face of Las Vegas. Both BusinessInsider.com and The New York Times Magazine recently published articles on Hsieh and his vision for downtown. The Times’ piece, by Henderson resident (and Vegas Seven contributor) Timothy Pratt, focuses on Hsieh’s $350 million Downtown Project, but Business Insider, as part of its “Sexiest CEOs Alive” series, concentrates on Hsieh’s impressive digs and the high-tech culture he has fostered inside the Ogden apartment building. Hsieh, sexy? Even with Madison expecting, we’re not quite ready to place that label on Hsieh.
