“My most prized possession is the 90-inch chapel-length veil I wore at my wedding to Lee Vlastaris Jr. [DJ Hollywood] at Siena Golf Club in September. Being petite (I’m only 5-foot-2), it was easier to go for drama with the veil versus a gown that would drown my small frame. When I purchased it from Alfred Angelo Bridal I was in a bit of a panic, because ordering a new one was going to take almost two months. It is a couture piece, which makes it hard to come by, so I was thankful they let me have the floor sample. When I arrived at the venue I was already in my gown, however, I waited until the last minute to put the veil on, and as soon as it went on I became overwhelmed with emotion. I was looking at myself for the first time as a bride—it was amazing.”
