Opening night proving to be hot ticket

Thomas & Mack Center is nearing a sellout for tonight's UNLV season opener

With hours remaining until tonight’s UNLV Runnin’ Rebels season opener at the Thomas & Mack Center, there are reportedly just 400 unsold tickets remaining for the general public. About 600 student tickets are still available.

The Rebels are proving to be a hot ticket, as they drew impressive crowds for their Scarlet & Grey Showcase on Oct. 18 and their lone exhibition game last week. The Rebels are ranked No. 18 in the AP poll, and the excitement level is high for the 2012-13 season.
