Santa Claus isn’t the only guy around who loves his milk and cookies. Sushi Roku manager Gary Min is also a big fan, with butterscotch and gingersnaps being his personal favorites. That notion provided the inspiration for this sweet and creamy after-dinner cocktail, which combines all of Min’s preferred flavors with just a touch of cinnamon and is available through Dec. 25. In the spirit of giving, Min gladly shares his recipe with guests, as it was specially designed to be re-created at home. Looks like Santa’s in for a treat this year.
Milk & Cookie
As served at Sushi Roku in the Forum Shops at Caesars, $14
In a mixing glass, combine 1½ ounces Ketel One vodka, ¾ ounce butterscotch extract-infused maple syrup, ½ ounce Frangelico and 1½ ounces milk. Add ice, cover and shake. Strain into a cocktail glass and top with whipped cream infused with butterscotch extract and ground cinnamon, crumbled gingersnap cookie and one whole cookie.
