Bill’s Soon to Be No More; Drai to Helm Nightlife

The long-gestating overhaul of Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon (which really should feature the term “old-timey” in there somewhere) is finally coming to pass. Caesars is shutting it down Feb. 4, proceeding with a $185 million overhaul and opening it up under a new name in early 2014.

The building will be topped by a 65,000-square-foot rooftop pool and club helmed by Victor Drai, late of Tryst and XS, later of Drai’s Hollywood. The club won’t open up until later in 2014, giving you a full two years to start speculating as to what kind of water feature will be incorporated into the club space.
