Hakkasan Details coming forth

160870262.jpgWhen the Bon Appetit crew gathered at Hakkasan San Francisco for the announcement of the Vegas Uncork’d roster, a few details came out about the soon-to-open MGM Grand location of the resto.

Chef Ho Chee Boon revealed that the menu will be composed of roughly 60 percent items available at other Hakkasan outposts and 40 percent unique to Las Vegas. According to managing director Didier Souillat and director of operations Eric Barth, the design of the restaurant will share some elements with other locations, but will feature larger private rooms and a long bar.

The soft opening should take place in mid to late April with a tentatively planned grand opening in early May, ahead of the May 9 Uncork’d event.
