Thanks to two sold out dates in Brooklyn, Sensation is coming our way this fall as part of its first U.S. tour, which also includes Miami, New York and San Francisco.
If you haven’t heard of Sensation it’s because most of the previous 90-plus destinations were in Europe. The epic electronic dance music event was created by Amsterdam-based ID&T, producer of all-world festivals including Tomorrowland in conjunction with Goldenvoice, creator of Coachella.
Needless to say, this will be big.
What’s coming is “The Ocean of White” party, which will transform the MGM Grand Garden Arena into an all-white nocturnal water world with guests dressed to match. Expect acrobats, giant suspended jellyfish, white-hot pyro and, of course, superstar house DJs.
A lesser-known fact: The white dress code is a tribute to Sensation co-founder Miles Strutterheim, who tragically passed away in a 2001 car accident just one year after the innaugural Sensation. A portion of proceeds will benefit Dance4Life, a youth-empowerment charity.
