The NFL’s hypocrisy regarding betting continues to amaze. SportingNews.com highlights how the league will play two regular-season games this year at London’s Wembley Stadium, and is considering adding a third, despite sports betting being legal there. Yet the NFL is unwilling to even consider playing an exhibition game in Las Vegas, and continues to block our city from running TV ads during the Super Bowl. The Sporting News points out that there are more than 30 gambling parlors in the Wembley Park area, some within walking distance of the stadium. Perhaps Las Vegas sportsbooks should start taking only wagers made in British pounds.
