Tons of stuff going on today you?d guess. We listed a bunch last week so you could make plans, but here are two more: the 65th annual Damboree in Boulder City (BCNV.org) and the Lake Las Vegas Fourth of July Celebration (which actually starts tomorrow, Montelagovillage.com). This whole midweek Fourth is very confusing.

Stamford, Connecticut, may not be as famous a mob town as Las Vegas, but in the 1980s it was every bit as corrupt. Back then the largest drug ring in southern Connecticut operated out of police headquarters, and 15 city or state officials were fired or jailed for their involvement with organized crime. Stamford police officer Vito Colucci wore a wire, and risked his life, to end the corruption, which he details in his new book Rogue Town. Colucci is the guest speaker at the Clark County Library?s Mob Month event. 2 p.m., 1401 E. Flamingo Rd. 507-3458.

Summer without a trip to the drive-in theater is like a day without sunshine, which is practically unheard of in these parts. Tuesdays are Family Fun Nights at the West Wind Drive-In, 4150 W. Carey Ave., meaning you get the whole clan in for only $4.75 per head. At that price, it?s hardly even worth shoving Mom in the trunk to sneak her in free. WestWindDriveIns.com.
