So, just how onerous is your commute? When you?re sitting in traffic on I-15 behind yet another accident, it can seem unbearable.

Yet commute times in the Las Vegas metropolitan area hover right around the national average of 25.4 minutes, according to this interactive graphic from public radio station WNYC. There?s a divide between the northern and southern part of the valley, with most North Las Vegans and Downtowners spending around five minutes more traveling to work than those living in Summerlin and south of Sahara Avenue.
