Bikini Experts Drop Some Swimsuit Science

Las Vegas native Ashley Kim and New York City transplant Gina Nguyen, the brain trust behind the new lifestyle website, are hard at work bringing the best of summer culture to their followers. We recently spoke to Nguyen about the site, summer style and, of course, bikinis:

The site is … a lifestyle portal for everything bikini related—everything from what bikini to wear to how to get fit to wear that bikini to what are the hottest trends.

Summer is … the perfect time to wear white. Being from New York, I’m very limited in my color palette. I like simple colors. Summer is a great time to accessorize with jewelry or a cool belt, too.

The crop-top trend is … really hot right now. There are certain swimsuit tops that you can wear with a high-waisted bottom and pull it off as a regular top. That’s one of the reasons I really like OYE, the brand we’re wearing.
