DJ Power Rankings: WeRWolvz

werwolvz.jpgThe DJ duo of Sunny B and PJ Paradise, formerly known as Yellowfever, have been at it since 2010. They’re many things: Las Vegans, friends of Chuck Norris and now, lycanthropes in their new incarnation as WeRWolvz. They’ve already done a six-month tour of Asia and are planning a return trip there, as well as to Europe. But first, they’re up at The Act Saturday night. And even before that? They’ve got the DJ Power Rankings. Even though our last installment was Teenwolf, we assure you, we’re not covering exclusively wolf-themed DJs. We may go on to the vampire ones next.

Track This Week Last Week Notes
“Gossip” by WeRWolvz 1 NR “Oh snap! You didn’t know?” Dirty electro with that WeRWolvz flava. One of our newest originals that has gotten a lot of recent internet attention. Even our boy Chuck Norris gets down to this track.
“Chattahooche” by Like Mike & Dimitri Vegas 2 NR Another Wakanda-esque festival banger from the duo and was the theme song for Tomorrowland Festival in Belgium. Big room sound with heavy percussive synths and chanting. What more could you want from an electro track?
“Jump!” by Henry Fong, Mike Hawkins, Pablo Oliveros 3 NR Brand new track from one of our favorite upcoming U.S. producers Henry Fong. New song has already risen to the top of Beatport charts just recently and there is no question why. Jump!
“Dirty Iron Man” by Felix Zaltaio & Lindh Van Berg 4 NR This up and coming Swedish Duo throws down with this original. Great opening melodies that make you feel like you are part of the Neverending Story but then hits you with that dirt in the eye. They even got Tiesto’s attention as it was played on his Club Life radio show.
“Puzzle” by Quintino & Blasterjaxxx
5 NR Brand spanking new song from the Dutch producers who teamed up to drop the nasty.

Last week: 1.) “Superjam” by Juyen Sebulba. 2.) “More” (Teenwolf and Shelco Remix) by Laidback Luke, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. 3.) “Let Me Love You” by Deorro featuring Adrian Delgado. 4.) “No Guns Allowed” (Teenwolf x Shelco x Diplo Remix) by Snoop Lion featuring Drake. 5.) “A$AP Ferg” by Shabba featuring A$AP Rocky.
